Wendy graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland in 1985. She has been practising in Family Law and assisting people involved in the breakdown of relationships since then. In 1996 she was the country member of the Queensland Family Law Practitioners Association. In 1996-97 she was the President of the Far North Queensland Law Association. Wendy obtained her accreditation on the 1 July 1996. Wendy acts as an Independent Children’s Lawyer for the Legal Aid office, ensuring that children’s voices are heard in Family Law proceedings. Throughout her professional life Wendy has been committed to serving the community and her profession. Wendy has previously served on local committees with Legal Aid, the Business Women’s Club, Women’s Centre and PCYC. Wendy’s aim is to assist clients in achieving the best outcome in a cost effective manner, whether that be through litigation, negotiation or mediation. Wendy accepts work in private and Legal Aid matters.
