FLPA's Early Career Lawyer and Seasoned Practitioner Workshop and Wine Tasting
Proudly hosted at and sponsored by the College of Law
FLPA is proud to present a concurrent professional development afternoon followed by a wine tasting event to bring together early career practitioners in family law, and the more seasoned of our family law fraternity.
Commencing at 4pm, concurrent seminars will run alongside each other to cater for the diverse experience of our members.
For the early career practitioners, His Honour Judge Jarrett and Bruce Dodd, Accredited Family Law Specialist, will address participants on topics relevant to those with less than 5 years’ experience. This promises to be an engaging and stimulating part of the professional development calendar, where members will no doubt leave with a greater sense of what is required of practitioners in today’s family law arena from the Court’s perspective and from a practise perspective. For the more experienced practitioners, Her Honour Justice Hogan and Tedd Jordan, Barrister, will present on topics relevant in family law today from a more in depth perspective. Further details of the speakers’ topics will be circulated to members ahead of the event.
This will be followed by an opportunity for networking and, ideally, some mentoring relationships to spark and develop among the junior and senior practitioners among us. In line with this theme of “pairing”, there will also be matching food and wine for everyone’s enjoyment.
Numbers will be limited, so please register quickly to avoid missing out!
