A FLPA Celebration to honour Justice May on her retirement from the Family Court of Australia
Please join FLPA for a cocktail function to celebrate the career of The Honourable Justice Michelle May AM, who will retire in July of this year.
Her Honour was called to the Bar in 1978 and appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1993. On 7 September 1995, Her Honour was appointed as a Judge of the Family Court of Australia, being the first female appointment to that Court from Queensland. In 2003, Justice May was elevated to the Appeal Division of the Family Court of Australia and was the Senior Administrative Judge of the Appeal Division from January 2016.
