TWILIGHT SEMINAR / WEBINAR – Child Support Applications in the Courts

Don’t miss FLPA’s first Twilight seminar / webinar for the year co-presented by her Honour Judge Cassidy and Chris Bishop.

This seminar will provide practical tips and our speakers will canvas issues which often arise when child support related applications are brought before the Courts (think orders for private school fees, departure orders, stay orders, setting aside Binding Child Support Agreements and the like).

More details to come next week.

About our speakers
Her Honour Judge Cassidy needs little introduction, having donated her time and spoken at numerous FLPA events over the years. Judge Cassidy received her commission to (what was then) the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia on 5 November 2007 and routinely deals with child support related applications within her docket.

Chris Bishop is Special Counsel working in the Government & Administrative Law Team at the Brisbane office of Mills Oakley. Chris was formerly the Deputy General Counsel – Practice Director (Child Support) Litigation Team for the Department of Human Services, and the role afforded him the opportunity to develop a wealth of practical experience in the area.
