TWILIGHT SEMINAR
An evening with Judge Demack in Rockhampton

This June, FLPA is hosting a twilight seminar in Rockhampton!

Our seminar will provide an opportunity for networking as well as an informal Q & A session with her Honour Judge Anne Demack canvassing topics on all things family law (such as Federal Circuit Court Practice Direction No. 2 of 2017, and some recent interesting first instance and Full Court decisions) as well as practical tips for the practitioners appearing routinely before her Honour in relation to preparing your client for the court process and drafting court material.

Don’t miss out.

About Judge Demack

Her Honour Judge Demack needs very little introduction, being familiar to most members from her time both in the Brisbane Registry and more recently in the Rockhampton Registry and Mackay circuit. Judge Demack was appointed as a Federal Magistrate in 2008. Judge Demack was formerly a barrister in private practice in Rockhampton. She holds degrees in law and in social work and had earlier worked as a social worker. At the time of her appointment she was a member of the Children Services Tribunal, which was then the Queensland Tribunal with responsibility for reviewing decisions made by the statutory child protection department, and had been a member of the Central Queensland parole board.
