CPD event for Townsville Practitioners

You are invited to a CPD evening followed by Christmas drinks. Presentations at the CPD event will be undertaken by the following who will speak on the topics mentioned below:

• His Honour Judge Bowrey, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) – Advocating for your client’s interim orders including tips on how to prepare
• Senior Judicial Registrar Stuart, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) – Preparing for your Financial Conference and information relating to the New Court Pathways and Dispute Resolution services  
• Jo Bebernitz, Manager, Court Services, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) – The new national processes and common filing errors

When: Thursday 16 December 2021. 4.45pm for 5.00pm start for CPD event and then 6.15pm for Christmas drinks.

Where:  QBar Bridgewater Restaurant (Dibbs Street Townsville).

Cost: $25.00 per person for members | $40.00 per person for non members.

CPD: Rule 48(2) of the Queensland Law Society Administration Rule 2005 and the Bar Association of Queensland CPD Policy permit, on a self-assessment basis, the treatment of attendance at a conference as a CPD activity at the rate of 1 CPD point per 1 hour of attendance (excluding refreshment breaks).
