CPD event for Townsville Practitioners

1 December 2022

You are invited to a CPD evening followed by Christmas drinks. 

Presentations at the CPD event will be undertaken by:

  1. His Honour Judge Bowrey, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) and Senior Judicial Registrar Stuart, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) - Tips and Traps.
  2. Susan Calmer, Psychologist and Director of Leading Change Psychology – an update on the Children’s Contact Service of Leading Change and presentation of a pilot program for therapeutic intervention

We will then have a panel Q&A with the following panel:

Given the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) is endeavouring to ensure a consistent national approach, there is a need to have the information to be provided in response to such questions considered in advance. Any questions will therefore need to be submitted prior to the event and will not be taken from the floor. Cost: FLPA Members $35 and Non-FLPA Members $45

CPD:
Rule 48(2) of the Queensland Law Society Administration Rule 2005 and the Bar Association of Queensland CPD Policy permit, on a self-assessment basis, the treatment of attendance at a conference as a CPD activity at the rate of 1 CPD point per 1 hour of attendance (excluding refreshment breaks). 

Cancellations non-refundable, substitute permitted.
