When to worry - An exploration of our ethical obligations as to warning and withdrawing

Thursday, 16 March 2023

The Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland is pleased to present the first of our 2023 Twilight Seminars with Barristers Kathryn McMillan KC and Kylie Chesterman.

The seminar will be directed at discussing our ethical obligations in the family law space and will involve discussion and insights into the following:

  • When you should withdraw from a matter and how do so to comply with our legal and ethical obligations;
  • In what circumstances you can disclose client communications (in order to warn); and
  • Understanding when you are required to make compulsory notifications.

This is one not to be missed, especially for those looking for their compulsory ethics point before the CPD deadline of 31 March 2023.

When: 5.00pm for a 5.30pm start, Thursday 16 March 2023

Where: In person at Grant Thornton (Level 18, 145 Ann Street, Brisbane, QLD, 4000) or by webinar
