Join the association of Therapeutic Family Law Practitioners (TFLP) and the Family Law Practitioners Association (FLPA) for a networking event at 5.30 pm on Friday 27 March 2026 in Cairns.
All lawyers working in the family law space are encouraged to attend the drinks, being held at the Crystalbrook Collection in Cairns, which are aimed to facilitate networking amongst those in the family law space particularly with therapeutic practitioners such as psychologists, social workers, family report writers and family counsellors in the area.
We encourage members to forward this invite to any psychologists, social workers, report writers and family counsellors who may have an interest in taking up family report writing or expanding their experience in report writing. As members will know, whilst the work is challenging it can be very rewarding: there is significant demand, report writers can have significant flexibility about how they work, and there is the potential to build a financially rewarding practice as well. A free information session will be held at 9.30 am on Saturday 27 March 2026 for those looking at getting into family report writing, giving some background and talking them through how they might enter the space and the support available to them.

When:Starting at 5:30 pm with Friday night drinks 27 March 2026 and (for those interested in becoming family report writers) to be followed by an information session at 9:30 am on Saturday 28 March 2026.
