Toowoomba Twilight & Networking Event - Shinohara and all that: Recent developments in family law
Friday 24 October 2025
The Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland is pleased to host a Toowoomba-based Twilight Seminar presented by Bruce Dodd of Counsel.
Bruce will explore recent developments in family law, with particular reference to the latest amendments to the Family Law Act. Included in those reflections will be a consideration of the implications arising from Shinohara & Shinohara [2025] FedCFamC1A 126, a case that has generated considerable discussion within the profession.
This seminar is a valuable opportunity for Toowoomba-based practitioners to stay current with important case law, while connecting with colleagues in the region over an engaging twilight session.
We look forward to seeing you there.
